Paris Paper Piecing Project

While visiting the Wantobe Quilter Campaign at Sew We Quilt I read a post by Kd of KdQuilts about paper piecing.  I have wanted to try this for some time so what a perfect tutorial for me.   Another fun thing about this paper piecing tutorial is that the project was the Eiffel Tower.  I have a co-worker who just visited Paris with her daughter and they had a wonderful time.  I decided I would learn something new and share this with someone who has seen the real thing and has memories from time spent there.

Here is my Eiffel Tower, Paris

Paper piecing is really quite fun and thank you to Kd for the great tutorial that inspired me to give it a try.

  2. It's lovely Sherry! Wonder if I could make something similar using scraps. Will have to get it some serious thought although sewing is not my thing. :/ Have a great day. Tammy

  3. That looks great! I grew up with paper piecing. My mom used whatever she could find - paper sacks, newspapers, ad papers, etc.
