OMG - March One Monthly Goal

I have been choosing my goals from my allpeoplequilt.com 2017 UFO Challenge list.  This month the number 12 was chosen as the goal which means I will be quilting and binding my table topper.  This was started when Julie at The Crafty Quilter shared a stitch-along.  I am excited to have a plan to get this project completed.

This cheerful table topper will be perfect for spring!

I will link up with One Monthly Goal at Elm Street Quilts.  Visit and see all of the project finishes planned for March.

Happy Stitching!

"Let the Sunshine" Quilt - February Goal

I am excited to have  my  "Let the Sunshine" quilt top completed.  I had the privilege of attending the Best Friends Quilt Retreat this past week and one of the projects I completed was this quilt top.  I had selected it as my February goal.  I love this cheerful quilt.  The pictures are not the best because they were taken inside.  The weather was cold, with a little rain and snow mixed in so we did not drag the quilt outside for pictures.

I am so excited to have this quilt this far in the process and hope to have it quilted, not by me of course, and ready to use some time this summer.

I will share more about what I worked on at the retreat soon but was excited that my February goal was part of this fun very long weekend.
I will be linking this post to the One Monthly Goal Link Up at Elm Street Quilts.

Happy stitching!

Snapshots Quilt Complete

We spent a few days at the beach and some quiet time in the house while it rained pretty hard.  We spent our time watching movies, enjoying the fire, working a puzzle and of course a little sewing,  I stitched the binding on by machine and finished the hand sewing while watching Murdoch Mysteries.  My Snapshots quilt is complete.  I just need to soften it up in the washer and put it to use.

Sewing was not the only therapy I had while at Ocean Shores.  I was able to spend a little time enjoying the beach.

I was also able to get a little fabric therapy.  I stopped by Beach Thyme Quilts and picked up a few fat quarters and a Hansel and Gretel Panel.

My Snapshots quilt was my finish goal for January and I will be linking up with One Monthly Goal at Elm Street Quilts.  Visit here and see all of the other finishes for January.
