New Burlap Bag

A few months ago I made my first burlap bag using a tutorial posted by Nancy at La Maison Reid.  My sister  really liked it.

Now I have made bag #4 using another pattern posted by Nancy and I think I like it the best.  This was a gift for my Daughter Amy for her Birthday.  She had given me a few hints about wanting one.

I used one of my grandmothers old buttons on this one, the burlap rosettes look great on them but this was a little quicker and I like it too.
Thank you Nancy for your inspiration.

A Stitch-Along at I got the Notion

I am joining a Stitch-Along at I got the Notion.
I have the fabric and the pattern was sent to me via email.  The pattern is cut out and prepared.  Tomorrow is the big day to get all of the work done to get Part 1 accomplished.
Take a look at  Jenna's blog here, and you will see a
sample of the finished tote bag.
These are the Fabrics I have chosen and I have to pick up some ribbon and ric rac tomorrow.

The pattern pieces are prepared

I will keep you posted on my progress on my project for Notion's Tote Bag Sew-Along

This should be fun!
