I was looking at my friend Alyssa's blog last week and she posted pictures of all of the beautiful things blooming in her garden. She had linked to MsGreen"thumb"Jean for Bloomin' Tuesday, and that is what I am doing today. After reading her post, the next chance I got I went around our yard looking for flowers in bloom. There were more than I had expected and I would have missed them if I had not taken the time to take a little stroll.
Here are some of the beautiful blooms I saw.
Cranesbill Geranium
Peonies (some that survived the rain)
More Peonies (will cut most right away for a bouquet)
Yellow Columbine
Heuchera
I love this variety, it grows a little slower but the leaf color is so pretty. I didn't take the greatest picture of the little dainty flowers.
Rugosa Rose
I put this in last year and this is the firs flower we have had and the second is the bud in front.
Perennial Geranium
Verbascum
Lupine
White Lilac
All I had to do was slow down and take a little walk and I was blessed by all I found.
Don't forget to visit the other gardens at Bloomin' Tuesday
Beautiful, beautiful blossoms. Love the peonies, and your white lilac is gorgeous!

Welcome to Bloomin' Tuesday! One of the best thing about posting blooms is getting out there and looking. Your garden must be lovely with all the beautiful colors. I'm really drawn to the yellow colombine. Happy Bloomin' Tuesday! Jean
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely blooms you have! Thanks for sharing, Paula from Idaho
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit! I think blogging makes us all slow down and be aware of our surroundings so much more. It is as if we filter everything through a camera lense, looking for things to share. Your flowers are gorgeous...you have some interesting varieties!
