September Goal Setting

I have thought a lot about what I wanted to choose for my September goal.  There are so many projects to choose from.  I will be attending the last Sit and Sew for this year in late September.  I will miss the monthly gatherings with my Whidbey Island Friends.  Some of us were working on the Adornit block of the month.  I have done a pretty good job of keeping up and would like to complete the top by the end of September.

This is the kit with a small portion completed.

Another section, this quilt uses a lot of the backs of the fabrics which has been a new idea for me.

More of the completed blocks, I am having fun with this.  It is not like anything I have made in the past but I know I will like the finished quilt.  I think the hardest part has been the cutting, there are so many different fabrics in this quilt.  I haven't followed the fabric choices just as described in the directions but that was encouraged from the beginning.  Restating my goal, complete my ADORNit quilt top.  It would be great to get the back ready too but I don't think I should push too hard, or should I?
I will be linking with Sew BitterSweet Designs and Fiber of All Sorts sharing my goal for A Lovely Year of Finishes

  1. That looks like a great quilt. Good luck on your goal.

  2. Sept goals...hadn't given it a thought but now I will...thanks! Your goals are commendable, go for it!
