Progress on Harrington and Hannah Blocks

I started out keeping up with my blocks for this fun BOM, Adventures of Harrington and Hannah, but fell behind.  I am trying to get caught up as part of my BOM Rehab at Pink Pincushion.  Below is block 7, the July block.  I have not added the border to the bottom of this block because I have not completed block 5 and 6 and I have a little method with the order of the fabric squares.

June is cut and ready to stitch and May is waiting to be started.  I think block 8 will be out in a few days, I wonder what we'll be stitching next.

While we were at the ocean for our minnie vacation I decided to start a completely new project.  It is counted cross stitch with variegated thread.  It will be interesting to see how this one turns out.  I am not sure what the finished project will be, a pillow, framed, hm mm I will have to think about it.  It was fun to work with even weave fabric and do a little cross stitch.

Stitching Betsy's Closet Stitch-Along

I am excited about a new stitch along I am participating in.  I saw this pattern called Betsy's Closet - In Stitches.  I knew when I found it I had to buy it and save it for later.  Not too much later I heard about a couple of ladies who were planning to do a stitch-along and they created a blog to share progress.  I am joining in and ready to start stitching.  Visit the Stitching Betsy's Closet blog here and see the projects.  Maybe you will want to join in.  I also have a link to this stitch-along on my sidebar.

Beginner's Quilt Along Blocks

I have so many things I plan to blog about and don't seem to get to it.  I will share some pictures and tell you about our trip to the ocean later this week.  I have completed two more blocks for the Beginner's Quilt Along hosted by Pat Sloan.  It will be fun to see how this quilt top looks when it is all put together.  I bought the fabric for finishing the quilt a couple of weeks ago when I saw Melanie from Fabric Chicks.

Digital Velocity V100

I have never owned an iron like this one.  I have had it for a few weeks but just took it out of the box.  I am going to make sure I read the instruction book cover to cover and take very good care of my new very special tool.

Auriful Designer Block of the Month - July

I have not had much time to blog in the past week or so but I have completed a few things I hope to share this week.  First I want to share the Aurifil Designer block of the month designed by Sarah Fielke  I have been buying Aurifil thread to complete this project and I enjoy using it in my embroidery.  I have changed the colors just a little if I don't have all of the colors suggested in the project.
