Saturday Morning just three of us from our church garden club, The Sweet Peas, were able to make the trip east of the mountains, through slush and snow, over the mountain pass, to sunshine and beautiful gardens.
The best part of the trip was spending time in fellowship and just plain fun with new and old friends. I am so thankful for the beauty in God's creation and the beauty of time spent with friends.
After eating our lunch at a stone picnic table and then wandering through the gardens, trying not to miss a thing, we each bought a few perennials to plant in our gardens at home.
We then headed to an antique mall and spent several hours looking at each booth. We each found a treasure or two to take home with us. We then headed to the 50's style restaurant connected to the antique and enjoyed a hearty helping of burgers, fries, and one of us chose salad. The fries were delicious!
Thank you for the great day Trudy and Kerri
