Maggie's First Dance Block of the Month
Visit here and sign up to join in on this free Block of the Month. One of my favorite quilts is my Sew Sweet Simplicity quilt made using one of Jacquelynne's Block of the Month designs. Don't miss the fun, and join in for Maggie's First Dance. I have been thinking about what fabric I want to use and I think it will be the Chantilly collection by Lauren and Jessie Jung. I saw several fabrics from this collection while visiting Melanie at Fabric Chicks. I will have to go visit again and pick out my fabric before this block of the month begins in June.

April Desire to Inspire Challenge 2016 and Giveaway
I had the opportunity to participate in the April Desire to Inspire Challenge at Henry Glass Fabrics. I completed my projects and they were shared here on the Henry Glass Blog. I was sent 6 yards of "Harvest Blessings" fabric designed by Janet Nesbitt. It was fun to work with these beautiful fabrics and I am thankful for the opportunity. Visit the Henry Glass Fabrics Blog and see my projects and enter the giveaway.

Second Quarter Goals
I was looking through my projects trying to decide what I should try to complete this quarter. I have many that I would love to cross off my list.
Quilted and waiting for binding.

This quilt top has been sent to the quilter and I hope to get it back and put the binding on right away.
I want to get the backing ready for this quilt, have it quilted and put the binding on.
This is a quilt that I thought I might quilt myself (maybe) and add the binding.
I have four rows made for my row quilt. I want to make another row and a few small joining rows before having it quilted.
I plan to complete this Schnibbles quilt by quilting it myself. I have a great piece of fabric for the binding waiting to be used.
I plan to make a pieced back for my Adornit quilt and have been putting it off. I had a great time piecing this quilt so now it is time to get it quilted and bound.
All of my blocks for my Snapshot quilt are complete. Now to piece them together and have it quilted and finish the binding.
This project is all cut and four blocks are made. It is going to be a beautiful quilt top someday.
This is a mini that I completed piecing a while back and I plan to make a pillow out of.
This too will be a pillow when I get it done.
I know that I have made bigger plans than I will probably get to but wouldn't it be great if I just got it done. It always helps when I have a plan and I do love making lists and crossing the things off that I accomplish. I will be linking my list with the 2016 Finish-A-Long here. It is fun to take a look at the goals others have set for the second quarter. Happy creating, enjoy the process.

My April goal for the 2016 UFO Challenge at All People Quilt is number 1 on my list. Finishing my Quirky Scrap Quilt is the project. It is pieced and quilted and waiting for binding. As I have said before, I enjoy sewing on the binding, I just need some motivation to get started. I want to donate this quilt for a special event so this is a great time to be motivated to complete it. I will also add this project to my 2nd quarter list for 2016 Finish-A-Long.
I took the picture so that I could show the backing. This was made following a stitch along designed by Leila who blogs at Sewn by Leila, her directions were great and it was a fun way to use some scraps and left over charm squares.
