A couple of weeks ago, Heather from Me Making Do wrote a post called Crochet a Pumpkin or Two? The pattern for these pumpkins is here. I had seen these and had thought about making some. I accepted the challenge and here are the three I have made. This will be the last of my Fall projects for this year, it is time to get started on Christmas but I had fun making these, they are a great take-along project. Now after two Fall swaps and the things I have made I will have to purchase a new tub to store my Fall decorations. Yeah!
I decided to try one white pumpkin, using white seems to be very popular. I think I might make more white next year.

These are so cute Sherry! I sent the link to my daughter-in-law. She's been crocheting alot of food for my granddaughter's new little kitchen that she'll be getting for Christmas.
ReplyDeletemaybe I can get her to make me a pumpkin or two.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
SOoo cute! I really want to learn to crochet before my next babe comes! How fun would it be to make a cute little cap! I have knit a scarf once :) sad...I know :) But I am jealous of your skills! The pumpkins turned out fabulous! Can't wait to follow & see what else you create! Thanks for stopping by today!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Sherry
ReplyDeleteOh, your pumpkins are so wonderful! Love the white one of course...
Thanks so much for your comment, you are so right if we try to do anything in our own strength it is for nothing and turns out to be a mess. God wants to be even in the details of life so He can bless us and teach us. Isiah wanted the Lord to be continually on his lips... what a beautiful life.
Many Blessings
Rebecca
These are adorable! Happy Thanksgiving!

Those pumpkins are so adorable Sherry and I love the white one especially. You inspire me to learn to crochet. :)
ReplyDeleteThose are very cute. I used to make fabric pumpkins and sell them at a craft store....I have none left. They were much easier to make than these are I am sure. very cute little pumpkins and white ones are great!
ReplyDeleteOh! I really like these! My daughter would love this pattern! Thanks so much for sharing!

Happy Thanksgiving - :)
Hi Sherry! Your pumpkins are wonderful!!! I'm always so impressed when people can make something like that themselves, as I can't sew or knit at all :) I wanted to let you know that you won my Cabbages and Roses fabric giveaway! Congratulations!!! Please email me your address so I can pass it on to them.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a blessed Thanksgiving!

Those pumpkins are adorable, but isn't it amazing how quickly time flies from pumpkins to snowballs? I can't believe that Christmas is almost here...
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful holiday season and a very merry Christmas!
