I was looking around thinking about a way to bring a little "Spring" inside our home. We have had a couple of cold days with some sun but the gray days seem to out number the sunny days.
So after a few minutes I remembered my Flora Doora Bags. I had ordered them a while back and thought I might give them as gifts.
I purchased them from Jane at Flora Doora. On her card it says Flora Doora Spreading happiness one bag at a time! They each have a plastic liner so flowers and water can pop right in. I did choose colors that would work in my home just in case I just had to keep them.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea - I have never thought of doing that before. I have several hanging "vases" (with the flat back) that hang on the wall and you can add water or dried flowers...that's something I saw a lot of growing up in Germany so many years ago, but those lined bags are a wonderful idea! Looks so pretty and I just love pink carnations :-)
ReplyDeleteI actually planted some lettuce seeds today...have them in egg containers to get them started - they're in the sun right now hopefully waking up ;-)
What a pretty bag Sherry! Love the black and white toile.

Both of them are really nice, but I have a "thing" for toile! I would be keeping them too. They seem so bright and unexpected in your home too only because I think most people would never expect flowers in a bag.
ReplyDeleteThe blue striped bag of beauties makes me think of Spring. The return of blossoms is always a magical experience...thanks for the preview.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely bags, i like all:-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, hugs Biljana
Sherry -
ReplyDeleteThose flowers on your bedroom door are just beautiful! A nice reminder, on this snowy day, that Spring is coming!
The bags are great, I need a little, no a lot of Spring!! winter is far to long and too cold. At least the days are getting longer.
ReplyDeleteThanks sooo much for grabbing the button!
What a sweet idea, and beautiful flowers :-) Love those little bags and the view of your room from the mirror is lovely!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Marcia
